fired from the company he was a co-founder of。 The most typical illustration that comes to my mind is Steve Jobs， who experienced a comparable circumstance。 The only thing Ashneer could do to defend himself and present his side of the story， given that the mainstream media was already against him， was to write this book。 He rose in fame along with the book。 He appeared in a few podcasts on YouTube， Facebook， and Instagram after the book's success， which increased his popularity among the general public。 He was adored by the Shark Tank India audience for his straightforward demeanour and clever dialogue。 With this book and the podcasts that followed， he was able to win back the people's love to such an extent that the second season of Shark Tank India without Ashneer as a Shark seemed flavourless。 This is confirmed by the never-ending posts on Facebook and Twitter。Let me now give a brief summary of the book。 The author began recounting details of his early life in this book。 He was a third-generation Pakistani refugee who was born and raised in a middle-class family in Delhi。 He graduated from a renowned English Medium School and then pursued his dreams of studying engineering Ashneer’s unapologetic attitude is praise worthy， but this book is nothing but a complainant’s attempt to discredit others and prove himself right。 Maybe he was right at the time， and maybe people did wrong by him， but I expected this book to be a bit more about entrepreneurship and not just the forced slander。The writing is quite lazy as well。 Totally skippable。
